✨ You decided to join Journal Café… You arrive wi ✨ You decided to join Journal Café…

You arrive with a coffee in hand, find a seat, and spend a couple of hours slowing down with like-minded people.

This month, we created a compass spread.

Just to pause and reflect on two simple questions:

🧭 Where am I heading?
🔙 What am I ready to leave behind?

The answers looked different for everyone.

Some were moving towards confidence, creativity, balance or new opportunities.

Others were letting go of self-doubt, perfectionism, overwhelm or things that no longer felt aligned.

That’s one of my favourite things about journaling. It gives us the space to check in with ourselves and notice where we are before deciding where we’re going.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today. 🤍

If you had your own compass spread in front of you right now, what direction would you choose to move towards?

A little catch-up with my journal in the garden th A little catch-up with my journal in the garden this morning. ☀️📖

Before a new month begins, I always find it helpful to pause and check in with where I am, what’s working, and what I want to focus on next.

That’s exactly what we’ll be doing in Journal Café tomorrow too.

A relaxed hour to journal, reflect, chat, and spend some intentional time on yourself alongside a lovely community of journalers.

If you’ve been meaning to make time for your journal, this is your reminder. 🤍

This month’s pages are filling up, my Kindle is keeping me company, and Journal Club is ready for another month of thoughtful prompts and conversations.

Sometimes we spend so much time chasing the next big thing that we forget how much life is built from the little things we do every day.

I’d love to know what’s currently filling your days…

Just a little pause before heading to work. 🤍 A f Just a little pause before heading to work. 🤍

A few minutes in the garden, a good book, and a chance to enjoy some sunshine before the rest of the day begins.

Life feels quite full at the moment, and I’m learning that sometimes you don’t need a whole day off to reset. Sometimes a small pocket of time is enough.

A chapter of a book.
A cup of coffee.
Five minutes without looking at your phone.

Then it’s back to the to-do list.

What’s one small thing you’ve done for yourself today?

Plot twist: I’m probably the biggest football hate Plot twist: I’m probably the biggest football hater you’ll ever meet… ⚽😂

But this year I’ve somehow ended up in a World Cup sweepstake, and instead of pretending I know what I’m talking about, I’ve decided to turn it into a creative project.

I’m using my new travel journal to make a page for each of the four countries I drew:
🇵🇹 Portugal
🇳🇱 Netherlands
🇯🇵 Japan
🇨🇩 Democratic Republic of the Congo

I’m not travelling anywhere this year, so this feels like the perfect excuse to explore these places through journaling instead. Think facts, landmarks, memories from the tournament and plenty of stickers!

Now I need your help… which of my four teams do you think has the best chance of going all the way? 👀

Have you ever felt like a book found you? This on Have you ever felt like a book found you?

This one certainly did.

It was a birthday gift from my sister, but the way she chose it makes it feel even more special. She happened to wander into a bookshop and met a lady with the same name as me. That lady was completely engrossed in this book and told my sister she couldn’t put it down.

My sister took it as a sign and bought it for me.

I know almost nothing about the story inside these pages, but I love the story of how it ended up in my hands.

So this weekend, I’m making a coffee, finding a cosy corner, and finally diving in.

Maybe it was fate. Maybe it was just a lovely coincidence. Either way, I’m excited to see where it takes me.

📚 Have you ever picked up a book because it felt like it was meant to find you?
