Instead of scrolling, I did this. Read a few page Instead of scrolling, I did this.

Read a few pages, slowed things down, let my mind switch off for a bit.

I’m not cutting out social media, but I am trying to create more of these small moments where I’m not constantly taking things in.

It’s such a simple shift, but it feels different… calmer, quieter.

Journal Café is back this Friday and it’s one of my favourite ways to end the month. A little pocket of calm to slow down, reflect, and get creative.

Each month we gently explore different journaling themes, chat about how the month’s been, sip tea, and spend some time putting pen to paper. It’s relaxed, supportive, and there’s absolutely no pressure to do things a certain way.

You don’t need any experience with journaling at all, just bring a notebook and come as you are 🤍

Journal Café is free for Journal Cafe members, or you can join us for £15 as a one-off session.

If you’ve been meaning to start journaling, or just need a bit of time for yourself… this is your sign 💫

I always imagine journaling as something I’ll do e I always imagine journaling as something I’ll do every day.

And sometimes I do… 
but a lot of the time, life gets busy and it doesn’t happen like that.

Yesterday I sat down and caught up on a few days in one go, and honestly, it still gave me that same sense of clarity and calm.

It reminded me that journaling doesn’t have to be perfect or consistent to be meaningful.

You can dip in and out. 
You can do it all at once. 
You can come back to it whenever you need it.

There’s no falling behind here.

And that’s something I’m really mindful of inside the Journal Club too, you don’t have to keep up with every prompt. Some weeks you might do one, some weeks you might sit down and do a few together.

It all counts.

We don’t need more to-do lists.We need better ones.

Here are a few that have genuinely helped me feel more clear and less overwhelmed:

• A “Not Right Now” list - For everything that doesn’t need your energy this week but you need out of your head.

• A “When I Feel Overwhelmed” list - Simple things that calm your nervous system when everything feels too much

• A “Done List” - Because you’re doing more than you give yourself credit for! 

• A “Minimum Day” list - 3 things that make the day feel like a win when energy is low

• A “Things I Want to Try” list - Small ideas, routines or habits you’re curious about (no pressure, just exploration)

It’s not about doing more.It’s about thinking more clearly.
