Hey guys!
Ila and Lou here to let you know we are here to support you, and we want you to keep smiling with us.
There is a lot going on in the world right now and so we wanted you to know that we are here for you and want to offer our support and words of encouragement for anyone who is struggling to deal with the situation we are currently facing.

Through it all, we keep smiling.

Going into fear does not serve anyone.

We choose to see this as an opportunity to grow, and so, looking at this situation from this prospective and mindset, these are our top 3 tips to keep yourself in a good mental space:

1. LOOK AT THE OTHER SIDE

Make it a point to look at the other side of this situation, find the balance in it, because there is a flip side to everything.

The planet is healing. Have you seen the clear canal water in Venice?

“The virus brought something … beautiful,” says a resident of the city.

The Sky.

In some parts of China they can now see the sky as a result of the economic slowdown following the COVID-19 outbreak. This means a massive reduction in pollution.

Earth needed a break to heal. And so did we.

Communities are coming together like never before. People are sharing moments of profound gratitude. We are CONNECTING.

It’s a beautiful thing to see, really, so if you finf yourself in a negative and scary place, rememebr to look at the other side. Good is there if we want to see it, always.

We encourage you to ask yourself:  What is this situation offering us? How is it serving us and how can you use this time to your greatest advantage?

For example, if you can’t travel, how can you use your time in a way that fills you up?

2. SELF-REFLECT

What is really important to me?

Reconnecting to what matters and why it matters.

This is a time for change. It is our opportunity to step up. To slow down. To re-evaluate. To pause. To reflect. We are reconnecting to what matters, to the simple things, to gratitude and appreciation. To earth and to oursleves. That sense of toghetherness that we lost a long time ago, is coming back.

This is a time to remember.

To go back to Source.
This is a time to surrender. Let go.
This is a time of knowing. Know that life is always working out for us, all the time.
This is a time to read more.
Write more.
To do all the things you ‘don’t have time for”
To pick up that project you left undone for months…or even years
To start writing that book you always wanted to write
This is a time to BE.
To stop being so preoccupied and more present.
It is a time to rest.
Listen.
Heal.
A time to make new choices.

Reconnect to that source within and take a break from pointing fingers outside of ourselves in the hope to self-sooth, self-numb, self-avoid.

3. SPEAK MINDFULLY

What language are you using when talking about this situation?

Do you find yourself using words such as disaster, awful, tragic, terrible etc…?

Your language creates your experience. Speak words that lift you up, not tear you down.

Instead of : “This is terrible, is only going to get worse”

maybe try saying

“In this very difficult time I trust that greater things are coming. I am supported”

Focus on the solution and not the problem. Dwelling on it, dramatizing it and getting emotional about it is not going to help.

We are in this together.

It is easy, when facing a difficult time, to forget about that ‘something greater’ that is not quite visible yet. It is our duty, at this time, to keep our vision for that something great alive and lit up inside of us. I once learnt that all breakdowns are followed by breakthroughs, and I believe in this very strongly because although, just like you, I never experienced anything like this before, I know that all the challenges in my life always brought me so much strength and resiliance and inner drive and insights and I believe this is no different.

It is easy to have faith only when things are going the way we like it to be or when things are easy. Practice full time faith and develop a mindset that KNOWS with no doubt, that you are here for a reason and that life happens for you, because from that space you know you can create anything. If it does come to your business being affected then you KNOW that just like you created it the first time you can create it again.

Bigger. Better. Stronger.

By looking after our own mindset we can create the best experience for ourselves and for the people we love around us (no matter how far they are). We may not have control over what is going to happen and what the impact of this situation is going to be and look like, but what we are in control of is how we choose to approach this situation, and with that comes the responsability to make it a positive and intentional experience for ourselves and for the people around us.

We want to leave you with some of our favourite written words in the hope that it will bring you a sense of peace, hope and relief, because we are confident that Everything is going to be ok:

“And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still.
And listened more deeply.
Some meditated, some prayed, some danced.
Some met their shadows.
And the people began to think differently.
And the people healed.
And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal.
And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed.”
